Treatments We Offer

Ovulation Induction

If a woman has an irregular menstrual cycle, monitoring with ultrasound scans (follicle tracking) and hormone assessments may help to identify the fertile time of the month and so improve the chances of natural conception.

IUI

Intra-Uterine Insemination (IUI) involves the introduction of sperm from the husband, into the woman's womb via the neck of the womb after processing in andrology laboratory by using a special catheter. The insemination is generally a painless procedure which takes only a few minutes and is performed on an outpatient basis.

IVF

In general, about 20 - 25% of healthy fertile couples become pregnant each month they try. In contrast, the pregnancy rate among couples with infertility is usually about 2 - 5% per month. Various treatments have been used in an attempt to improve these pregnancy rates.

ICSI

In the past many considered infertility to be a "female problem" but we now know that male factor infertility is present in up to 45% of infertile couples.

Family Balancing

A "balanced family" is one with equal numbers of male and female children. Many parents feel a strong desire to complete their families with the addition of a son or a daughter.

PGD

Preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) is a technique used to identify genetic defects in embryos created through in vitro fertilization (IVF) before transferring them into the uterus. Because only unaffected embryos are transferred to the uterus for implantation.

Laser Assisted Hatching

Assisted hatching is a technology which helps embryos to attach to the womb of the woman. Pregnancy cannot occur unless the human embryo hatches.

The most common reason for an IVF or ICSI cycle to fail is because embryos fail to implant.

Cryopreservation

Embryo freezing is a well-established form of assisted conception treatment. An increasing number of IVF clinics worldwide are now able to freeze spare embryos for later transfer.

Surgical Sperm Retrieval

Azoospermia is a type of infertility that occurs where the husband has no sperm seen in the semen.

In half of these cases sperm production from the testes is normal, but there is a blockage, which prevents sperm from entering the semen.
